Done Messing Around – We are Officially Doing The GAPS Diet

The more & more I thought about & read & researched the GAPS diet – THE MORE IT JUST MADE SENSE!!

Essentially it is pretty much eating meat & fruits and veggies, and eliminating ALL grains, starches and sugar.

Yeah – ALL of them sombitches.

Here’s the GAPS diet food list we will be following and foods to avoid.

If you’re interested in what the GAPS diet could do for you, I encourage you to read more about it! Especially if you have any skin issues, candida, allergies, digestion problems, or are overweight.

And now, here’s me cleaning the F outta the pantry, making soup from bone broth, drinking a kefir zucchini smoothie, making ghee, culturing milk kefir, creating a list of GAPS friendly foods we liked this week & soaking some seeds for breakfast cake!!

Up in the picture of the refrigerator, did you spot the artificial vanilla coffee creamer that Dreg can’t live without?? And that Cool Whip container is holding bone broth – I swear!!

I’m really excited to see how we all feel from following this new way of eating ~ and even though I may occasionally miss eating potatoes – I won’t ever miss the carb crashing!!
