d.i.y.friday ~ Make Liquid Hand Soap

Today I’m making Hand soap on the cheap by grating a regular bar of soap and adding water and glycerin!

The main glitch I have had with this project before is that it gets way too thick – This time my strategy includes stirring every two hours & Using my handheld stick blender at the end to whip it into creamy land.

I’m also going to add more water to make it a little more runny to work with my foaming soap dispenser pump.

I think this is a great tutorial to get you started:

Worked out pretty good – NOT a grease cutting soap really but so nice that it’s not too drying. I added essential oils of cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus & lemon and maybe some thyme :)

Love to hear from you! Please give me a comment ~
