You know that moment – that moment when for a minute or two or hopefully ten, all little ones are peaceful and engaged and quiet and still and you just simply relish in the mama bliss?
Yes, it happened today.
The attention to the tree house tickled me the most – because, during my Monday morning stair vacuuming session, I kept entertaining the idea of the fairy tree house not being there in the foyer taking up space should no one play with it anymore ~ but then I admitted to myself, I really wanted them to love it despite having the total realization that you can’t force anyone to do anything, especially children. Perhaps they were done with imaginative play and now only desired to create with laptops…
And then boom! I turn around an hour later and there it is being loved up by a little <3
Shop vac the van
Switch the laundry
Wack down the dried weeds
Feed the chickens
Read stories to the children
Move all my Sadie stuff into autumn purse
Clean clean clean
Play a board game
Bathe the bears
Try not to be the first one to fall asleep.
Yes! Just a few more minutes sitting here!!
