Soybean with a Nipple

Ok, so I’m with the Dreg on this one! Especially since I’m sitting here waiting on my cow-milk to get here!! ha ha
When things animals are raised as they ought to be: on small farms, allowed to pasture, and organically, they don’t create as much of an environmental problem. And, raw cow milk is really good for you!

Ok, so this reminds me of “Meet the Fockers” where the guy is talking to his gfriend’s dad and says “Oh ya, you can pretty much milk anything with nipples” and the her dad ays “What about me Greg, I have nipples. Could you milk me??”

I don’t drink much cow’s milk (have always disliked) but my fam drinks some. We used to be vegan but food allergies keep us from that much restriction unfortunately. I guess I use the idea that we are the only mammals that continue to drink milk from lactating animals after we are weaned (and after nursing my own kids) I have to say it seems weird for us to drink another mammals milk.

I do agree though that if you are going to drink milk you should support a small local farmer who treats his animals well as was mentioned above. Large dairy farms cause cows to develop mastitis (and being a nursing mom I can sympathize with them!!) from trying to get the most out of the poor gals and that makes me sad for them.

So all in all, I have to go with Sadie on this one. Rotate that nipple-less milk and enjoy the bene’s of a variety of nuts! hee hee
