Funny you should post this blog…my town just started their own farmer’s market. It not only has fruits and veggies, they sell baked goods, knitted things, baby animals, and have different bands perform every week. :) I’m glad farmer’s markets are getting more popular these days. They’re popping up all over my state. It’s hard for me to go because I usually work every saturday my town has its farmer’s market. Speaking of local food, The Big E just started. Has anyone gone yet?

PickYourOwn.org is an AWESOME site!!!! I absolutely can not give this enough thumbs up!!! We’ve found local pick-your-own sites as well as local corn mazes, pumpkin patches, and tree farms! Also, this is the site where I learned how to make (& can!) my own spaghetti sauce. I used their recipe and have always had wonderful results!! If you haven’t bookmarked this site yet — DO IT!!!!!
