Making your own healing oil with Calendula flowers is easy. This summer, I harvested and dried the flowers when they reached full bloom. I packed a glass jar full of them and covered the dried blossoms completely with olive oil. Then they sat on my windowsill for quite some time, being shaken when I thought about it. The oil turned orange-ish in color. Now they are ready to be strained out with cheese cloth and a funnel:
