Changing of the seasons, old lady face is feeling it!!

When your skin gets dry, or even just to keep it supple, remember the basics that live in your kitchen:

Skin Moisturizer :

• Oil in the skin helps hold back water
• If oil is lost, skin becomes dry
• Moisturizers prevent loss of water from skin

Skin looses moisture due to:

• Exposure to harsh weather
• Dry air in air-conditioned rooms
• Harsh soaps
• Frequent hot water baths

Symptoms:

• Wrinkled skin
• Fish net like cracks

Natural home remedy using honey, olive oil and oatmeal:

1. Take ¼ cup of honey
2. Add 2 tsp of olive oil
3. Add 4 tsp of oatmeal
4. Mix it well
5. Apply this mixture on the skin areas which need moisturization
6. Leave it on for about 10 minutes
7. Rinse it with warm water

Natural home remedy using honey and avocado:

1. Cut and de-seed ½ avocado
2. Grind it to make a paste
3. Take 1 tbsp of honey
4. Add 1 tbsp of crushed avocado
5. Add 1 tbsp milk
6. Mix it well
7. Apply this mixture on your skin
8. Leave it on for about 15-20 minutes
9. Rinse it with warm water

Natural home remedy using tea, honey and vegetable oil:

1. Take 1 tsp of black tea
2. Add 1 tsp of honey
3. Add 1 tsp of vegetable oil
4. Add 1 tsp of lemon juice
5. Mix all of these ingredients together in a bowl
6. Gently massage this mixture on the specific areas of your skin
7. Rinse of with warm water after 20-30 min

Tips:

• Apply moisturizer on slightly damp skin
• Avoid using alcohol based products
• Sprinkle rose water on skin
• Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday
