Harvest Parsley

Before Jack Frost takes the garden, I butchered the parsley and hung it to dry in my daughters’ closet, the only cool, dark space available.

What will I do with it?  After it’s dry and crispy, I’ll gently crush the leaves off the stems and store in a glass jar for soups, sauces and potatoes.

I hear some people like to make a tea with parsley for a diuretic to lose weight but my luck, I’d drink too much and end up inducing my period early or forming kidney stones…

So soup it is!
